The Artist Wil Gwin
Wil Gwin (born Wilbren O. Gwin) is an American singer-songwriter and recording artist from Dayton, Ohio. At a young age Wil Gwin took an interest in songwriting, writing his first song at the age of ten. Over the years Wil Gwin has developed a style of writing that pulls from his experiences and expresses them in a ways that his audience can relate. Wil Gwin has performed on stages from Miami to New York including the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem. Influenced by artist like BoyziiMen, Trey Songz, Miguel, and of course the late great Michael Jackson, Wil Gwin continues to incorporate many different styles of music, concepts and ideas to customize a sound unlike any other.
Wil Gwin's latest E.P. "All Or Nothing", which is scheduled for release March 6, 2015, was suitably titled, to express the direction which he feels his music is growing and going. Wil Gwin said in an interview about the album "it's my obligation to give my listeners my all on every song, and if I can't promise them that then my music means nothing." The first single off the album "Shut Yo Body Down" is a very descriptive yet literal work of art that paints a picture of one of the experiences of being a young man. This album is just a taste of good music to come. On March 6th the wait is over, the "All Or Nothin" E.P. “It’s just getting started.”
